YWCA Jamestown summer camp program, begins June 27, 2011 and will run until September 2, 2011. Located
on Terrace Avenue in Lakewood, YW CAmp Lakeside runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday and is
open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12. Transportation from the YWCA Jamestown to camp and
back is provided daily. Participants who require before- and after- camp care can also register for wrap-around
care at the YWCA from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm (limited availability). For more information on registration and rates for
YW CAmp Lakeside, call Robin at 488-2237 x 251.

What’s Cookin’? (Week 1: June 27- July 1)
Join us for the first week of Camp as we try our hand at being our very own
chefs! We will make a variety of foods, including our own personal pan pizzas!
Furry 4-Legged Friends! (Week 2: July 4-8)
This week we will enjoy activities with animals of all types! Campers will also
have a visit from the local Humane Society, who will teach us how to be
responsible pet owners of our own furry 4-legged friends!
Slip 'n Slide! (Week 3: July 11-15)
Our third week of Camp is all about having fun in the sun…and the water! We will
bask in the sun during beach time, and get wet and wild with squirt guns,
swimming, paddle boating, slip n’ slides, and so much more!
We’ve Got Spirit! (Week 4: July 18-22)
It’s Spirit Week at Camp, stay tuned for the different themes we will have each
day! Perhaps one day we will all be dressed in our pajamas!
Explore It! (Week 5: July 25-29)
Week Five we will explore a variety of topics ranging from local interests to the 7
Wonders of the World!
Discoveries! (Week 6: August 1-5)
Campers will be playing games and participating in the 2nd Annual Scavenger
Hunt for the Wise Worm!
Tag, You’re It! (Week 7: August 8-12)
Enjoy playing games of all kinds at Camp as well as having fun on our beach!
Bouncing Off the Walls! (Week 8: August 15-19)
As the summer winds down, our energy is just getting wound up! Join us as we
go to Bounce-A- Lot in Erie to run through bounce houses, obstacle courses,
play putt-putt, and have fun in the arcade! It’s going to be an awesome time of
bouncing off the walls that you won’t want to miss!
Memories! (Week 9: August 22 - 26)
Come celebrate the awesome memories you’ve created by having your family
come to Camp to celebrate the end to another successful season! We will be
having a cookout, slide show, and more!

Laser Tag& Presque Isle Beach, Bounce-A -Lot
